On my way to The Petit Palais

Le Pont Alexandre III and its surroundings are the quintessence of French elegance. The bridge is lavishly decorated with lampposts and sculptures of cherubs and nymphs. entreedumusee.jpg

IMG_3768Reza is for me an Icon with a capital I. He photographs conflicts, revolutions, human catastrophes and the beauty of humanity.

The exhibit is about Azerbaijan . Before we look at his photographies, let’s pause in the entrance of Le Petit Palais.

Well, my bad, it’s simply impossible for me to remember or even find the name of this sculpture in the entrance. Anyone?

As Mies van der Rohe said it very pertinently,” God is in details” and this palace is filled with details.
